The British broadcaster Sky has announced that 2010 will launch in the UK television channel in three dimensions. The decision to part after finding the great success that the chain has had with SKY + HD platform.
In April, the company aired a 3D program that showed the famous band Keane in a presentation at the Abbey Road recording studio. With that, Sky managed to position itself as the first European airline to issue a live show in three dimensions.
Now, Sky will not be limited to providing a 3D program to your audience but an entire channel. Movies, sports and other television programs can be enjoyed in three dimensions thanks to Sky's proposal.
Users who want access to this service will need Sky HD decoder, and a TV capable of receiving and working with 3D imagery, and of course the special glasses. It is unclear which month will air this channel, but Sky has promised more details to come up to the launch date.
